Problem
Line-up is a social sports platform based in the UAE. They were having massive problems with
their app, as it was crashing consistently, and overall, it was functionally very slow for the
users to operate. Our goal was to improve the user experience and overall performance of the
existing app.
Challanges
- Upon opening the app, the application used to crash.
- Using the leaderboard section of the application used to crash the application.
- Using the leaderboard section of the application used to drastically reduce the speed of the
application.
- The profile page used to slow down the application.
- Space optimization for added UI elements and features.
Solution
- Debugging the application opening and solving core implementation issues.
- Debugging the leaderboard section and implementing updated data structures.
- Introducing pagination to the leaderboard section to drastically improve performance.
- Re-designing the profile page to improve user experience.
- Introducing the design guidelines to allow for better space optimization.
- Introducing personalized calendar mapping to improve load speeds and user experience.
Result
An upgraded user experience along with a fresh ui launched to the app and play store.
